Emile Nicolaou
Emile R. Nicolaou is a highly experienced attorney specializing in entertainment and intellectual property law. Previously the head of business and legal affairs for the Playboy Entertainment Group and Critical Content, Emile has years of experience in-house with major brands and production companies. Notably, Emile played a key role in the production of several popular and Emmy award winning TV shows, including Catfish: The TV Show (MTV), Instant Dream Home (Netflix), Top Chef (Bravo), American Ninja Warrior (NBCU), Who Shot Biggie & Tupac? (Fox), Celebrity Game Face (NBCU) and The Great Food Truck Race (Warner/Discovery). Throughout his career, Emile has advocated on behalf of his clients in connection with First Amendment issues, infringement claims, financier agreements and day-to-day production issues. An expert in drafting and negotiating complex agreements. Emile’s educational journey began with a BS in Systems Engineering, followed by a law degree, and most recently, a master's in Blockchain Technology and Digital Currency. He is committed to continuous growth and education, and understands the transformative power that technology can provide - staying ahead of emerging trends, applying innovative solutions to optimize processes and creating efficiencies within the entertainment and legal fields.

Carl Nicolaou
With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Carl has established himself as a trusted advisor to many clients. He spent 12 years at Discovery Inc., initially overseeing all talent and production negotiations for Discovery Channel. During his time at Discovery, he transitioned to a solely business affairs role, rose to the position of Group Vice President and expanded his oversight to several additional Discovery networks, such as Animal Planet, Science Channel and TLC. He has been an integral part of the production of many iconic series such as Deadliest Catch, Naked & Afraid, American Chopper, Fast N’ Loud, Man Vs. Wild, Monster Garage, Street Outlaws and Dirty Jobs, to name a few. In addition he has also worked on many award winning natural history projects, including Frozen Planet, Africa, and Serengeti.
In 2023, Carl left Discovery and joined Three Olive Media Advisors as managing partner.
